Harvest: the grapes are carefully selected and manually harvested
Vinification: the two grape varieties are fermented in glass-lined concrete tanks then the merlot ages 2 years in oak barriques. It is aged in the bottle for 4 months. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation
ABV: 13.5%
Tasting notes: scarlet red. The nose is complex and intense with prevalent flower and mixed berries scents followed by spiced and toasted notes of cinnamon, cloves and coffee. In the mouth the wine is warm, soft, elegant and enveloping with well-balanced, fine tannins and a long, persistent finish
Pairings: barbecued meat, beef stews, game and mature pecorino cheeses
